Ann B. Thomas is an artist living and working in the rural setting of Hunterdon County, NJ. A keen observer of nature and strongly influenced by her surroundings, she is particularly inspired to paint landscapes and botanicals. Sometimes taking a birdseye approach to a subject, nature becomes a study of shapes, patterns, color and movement. As a self-taught oil painter, she is enjoying having a dialogue on canvas not only with the subject but with the medium and technique as well.
Ann received a BFA from Millersville University, in Pennsylvania.
